what to do b4 turbos? plz help ok heres the deal. i have an '02 WS6 and i was wondering what i should do b4 i get a turbo kit. its still under waranty so i dont want to do internals yet and i dont want to get an exhaust because the WS6 has a decent one and i dont want to get a new exhaust only to have it not work with my turbo headers. i wont be getting the turbos untill after the warranty runs out either im just looking for bolt-on's and the like. i already have subframe connectors, i took the baffles out of my lid, bought an air filter, and will be buying weels/tires and a line lock soon. i also plan on getting LS1 edit.
so is there anything else i could do in the meantime that wont have to be detrimental to a turbo setup and still give me a little performance untill then? i was looking at getting a maf sensor, smooth bellows or maf ends, intake manifold and things like that but would they really give me anything noticable on a nearly stock car? i have the 3yr warranty so no turbos 'till then <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> but what can i do in the meantime?

Re: what to do b4 turbos? plz help Are you really going to wait 3 years? I would start buying another shortblock.. Possibly a LQ4 shortblock along with 6.0L heads.. Send both to a vendor of your choice, but check your email for the vendor of my choice.. When it is said and done you would have a longblock that could take crazy power and still be reliable.. This is just my opinion..

Re: what to do b4 turbos? plz help well the problem isnt JUST the warranty, i also dont have 6-7 grand to shell out right now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> . but if i did want to make a good FI engine would i end up replacing most of it anyway jst so it could hold up to the power? if so i just might save up a little more and buy a nice shortblock
