Default LS1 Motorsport kit questions

Where does the LS1M single turbo kit tap in for oil feed and return?

Does the alternator have to be moved?

The oil feed is a fitting/Al plate that is attached right above the oil filter. Your stock one is held on with two bolts... and is not tapped... the one with the kit repaces it with the same hardware and has a small hole in it for oil and is tapped for the steel oil line/fitting which runs to the turbo.

the return used to be in the same hole as the oil drain plug... i do not know if this is the cause of any issues or not but i think it is now being required by Rob to tap the oil pan and put a fitting in to eliminate any oil drain/smoking issues.

ohh.. and yes the Alt is moved to almost the exact same spot as the TT kit does... but only with a VERY nice poweredcoated bracket that holds the Alt and the stock tensioner..... good stuff..

wow i guess thats one good thing that came out of a prolonged install.. you managed to be awake during part of it!
