Vortech V-9 G-Trim with Aftercooler "Programmer question" Hello,
I just purchased a Vortech Supercharger with aftercooler to install on a 2000 LS1 engine with 4L60E trans., out of a 2000 Ram Air car. The engine is going in my '81 Malibu with 3.42 rear and about 3,460 lbs without me in it.
The Vortech guys said the programmer can be sent with their stock (unmodified vehicle) program but didn't know if it would work well for my application being the engine is no longer in the T/A. So any advise on how to handle this? Get the programmer with their stock program? Or with no program at all? Then whats involved with that?
I do plan on using a freer flowing exhaust, headers and flowmasters and not sure what else or if anything else really would be needed.

Re: Vortech V-9 G-Trim with Aftercooler "Programmer question" most likely with that conversion, you should just buy LS1edit, and use that for deleting sensors, and tuning the blower.
