How much is too much for the street?
If I am driving along in 4th (A4) at, say, 35 MPH and stomp it (downshift to the bottom of 2nd), even though it does move forward, it will spin all the way thru 2nd gear up to over 70 MPH.
I have a PY3400 and 3.73's.
I wonder if 3.42's or 3.23's would have been better, with my setup, now.
Now, on the OTHER hand, I have dealt out some pretty nasty spankings by rolling into my launch and THEN flooring it in 2nd.
You gotta have nerves of steel to avoid stepping all the way into it, even when the power is there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
<strong> thats why you get yourself a boost controller
5psi first gear, 10psi second gear, 15 for third and im outa there (when i put the trans in anyhow) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You turbo guys ALWAYS gotta rub it in, don't 'cha! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Boost controller, indeed! <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

Man, if it's that easy to control all that power maybe I'll do a turbo setup instead of S/C. I dunno, I really love the sound of a blower...
