Default ATI D1SC Questions

Hey guys, first I would like to say thanks for looking at the topic. I was looking through other people's questions but couldn't find any good answers so I thought I'd ask myself.

I am planning on purchasing an ATI Procharger D-1SC for my '98 SS. My current mods can be found at: www.ls1camaro.net/mycar.htm

Basically I have bolt ons and a TR224 (stock heads).

My questions are as follows:

1) Where is the best place to buy this kit from?

2) What will I need in addition to the kit itself (fuel pump? injectors? timing chain?) I already have LS1Edit.

3) How easy/hard/fun is the install? I installed my cam and (stock) heads and I would say the cam part was medium difficult and pretty fun, but the heads were difficult and definitely not fun. (just so ya'll have a comparison <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> )

4) I currently have the stock 10-bolt. Obviously this will change soon, but I am wondering how safe it is (if I go easy on it) till I get a 12 bolt in there. I would like to avoid blowing my 10 bolt up.

5) This question is just for curiosities sake...how much HP/TQ and ET/Trap Speed do ya'll think I will be at?

The install is pretty basic suppously..

The 10 bolt won't last too long, but if you are extra easy on it, you should be ok...

I have 42.5LB injectors, inline 255L pump, and an intank...

I have a blower cam and S2 low compression heads...at 4psi it made 453rwhp and 540rwtq, through a TH400, won't be dynoing until I do a new motor...

that on a stock short block big boss, as for the cam i think it should run fine never seen an ls1 boosted with a 112 lsa (unless you have the 224 114 lsa cam), seems as if everyone is scared of boost to try anything out. Have seen a vid of a guy on hear with a formula a b1 cam stock rear run a low 11 in some big time elevation. Supposedly these d1's are pretty good rivals to the efficiency of turbos. Stock rear should be find as long as you don't lunch hard or down shift at 4 grand on the free way. Good luck, hopefully i will be fallowing the d1 band wagon, or at least until vortec gets a brain and decides to offer something bigger than the g-trim.
