Default blower cam ?

I am having a 6.0 engine bored 30 over and forged internals. Stock crank. I am putting a procharger on top of that running around 10lbs boost. I will be using the truck intake and beefing up the valve train with comp's 918's and titanium retainers. I have ls1 edit also.

I purchased a cam from LPE a while ago and was debating using it. The specs are :220/220 566/566 with a 120ls. Yes I said 120 lobe sep. Would that compliment my supercharger?

Wouldn't that think peak at like 12000rpm?

well it was a hell of a deal at the time, they said they used it on thier 650tt corvette. Everyone says that wider is better on lobe sep so I figured hell that is the widest I have ever seen.

good lord, and i thought the stock cam had a helatious lobe sep. The lift numbers do look good for force induction. I have always heard you want more duration and less lift to hold cylinder pressure. Personaly i think that thing is going to be a dog down low with those specs. Corvettes dont luach as hard as our F-bodies do, the geometry is totaly different, so i heard the make it up by revving to about 7 grand.

I will be doing a very similar setup most likely...

6.0L block ".040 over to 372 c.i.

I'm probably gonna have someone good spec out a cam for me, but I would like some suggestions..

Right now in my current motor I'm running a 214/218 .540/.550 114lsa, cam only has 25 miles on it, and it looks like I'm going to be selling it... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'll let you know in a couple weeks. I have a Lingenfelter 207/220 .571/.578 118.5 in my car right now. I just had it installed and I am going in for tuning as soon as I get a few things buttoned up (like put the blower back on). I wasn't going for lope, or top end power, I was looking for a smooth torque curve and good low - mid power. It sounds and runs like stock so far, but I haven't got into it yet.
