Default Best Way To Tune With SMC Injection Kit?

This will be arriving any day now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I know a few of you use this kit . . . what is the best way to tune on a wideband with it? I've never used one before, so I'm hoping to pick some brains here!

Turn the SMC on and crank it to the point where you feel a bog. At this point, you can turn the SMC back down, or turn the boost up to match the alcohol/water injection. Always monitor the KR as you execute your plan.

It's the ONLY way to protect against the occasional bad tank of 92 octane.

When I had my GN, I tuned it with an EGT gauge. First you baseline the temperature on a normal day and a good pull with no knock. The good digital gauges have a peak/hold function on them so you can get an average for a few runs. Then, while spraying, keep bumping the boost (and timing if you want) until you are back to the same temperature.

It's not that high-tech but it should get you close.
