I got a set of tubular turbo headers if you want to "fab" something up

Well that may be an embellishment, most likely after 2 or 3 complete combo changes it turns into a money pit for most

Arent hose tubular headers attached to your car anymore

I agree, I shoulda stuck with N2O.

And about those headers, those are coming off real soon. Going a different route.

I appreciate the offer but I would just do the flipped truck manifolds if I was to fab a turbo setup - seems to work for a lot of these guys

I agree. I lost thousands on a blower setup before I switched to TT's.

It's also important to understand all of the costs before pulling the trigger. A full setup is big bucks, there is no way around that.

I kinda feel this way too. I would have way more residual value. But anyways I wish I had just went with a 418 instead of a 382 (love displacement for the street--big cubes and tight stall is the feel I like) and I wish I had bought a T trim kit from RMCR off the bat rather than have to upgrade the G-trim kit.

WOW, hearing all these regrets with the SC guys makes me wonder now... I'm dropping a LS2 in my '93 RX7 but the only way I would ever consider doing it would be going the FI route and being that my backround is Turbos' thats the way I planned on going but after seeing what an extremely small engine compartment I have to work with I thought the SC was the way to go for simplicity. Buy a set of Headers, bolt on a SC, and throw some fuel in the mix and waalaa...650hp on pump gas in a car that weighs 2,700lbs what more could you ask for but my heart is in Turbo charged cars. I've owned 4 Supra's now, 3 3000GT VR-4's and now 2 Rx-7's so Turbos' are def. my forte and V8's are all very new to me so I'm learning but I'm looking forward to the change, I think ;-) I'm really looking forward to having some torque and full boost before 5K RPM. Now I have to maybe re-think this... decisions...decisions. Here are some pics of the new project let me know what you think. I think the new RX7 is on page 3.

Definetly. By the time I got done with paying for the cogs, reinforcing bracket and blower belt I was in turbo territory. I also wish I would have known how bad FMU's were. I would have taken a total different fueling approach to my ride. Live and learn.

This goes with more than the FI setup, but I wish people would stick to what they say. If someone says something will take two weeks then I expect it to take two weeks, not three or four or even more. This really makes me angry.

Man you hit the nail on the head! MOST but not all of the aftermarket auto world sucks this way. We need not even get into low quality overpriced parts either.

I wish I knew that everytime I encountered an obsticle it would take me 2-3 weeks to resolve it, you know finding the right part, order it, recieving it, etc, etc. but then only to go one step further b4 you have to do it again with another problem. I wish I knew how flaky vendors are.

I wish I knew that a supercharger without an intercooler might as well been left in the box that it was shipped in.
