New Edelbrock Intake

New Edelbrock Intake Has anyone received their's? Mine shipped today from Summit. One quick question: did it come with the gaskets - if not what kind/type/stock number do I need.
I'll be getting an Accufab 90mm T/B with a Precision elbow to top off my set-up. Hoping to hang the turbo(s) sometime this summer (will be staying with the nitrous until than).

I used the GMPP Intake but here is a pic of my Precision elbow and Accufab 90mm T/B.
Stenod Milled mine and we still have to notch the hood... what are you doing about that????

I have had the edelbrock victor jr. for about a month. It does not come with gaskets. I'm going to run a sheetmetal elbow with a nick williams 90 and it is supposed to clear the hood. The problem I have is I cant figure out how to hook up the MAP.
oh and it just takes stock ls1 intake gaskets

Kyle. Mine is the Victor Jr - supposedly just released - I ordered Oct 17th, just shipped today. Otherwise same T/B and elbow, same set-up as yours. I already have a cowl-type hood. Should clear without milling (I hope). Supposedly the Jr is slightly shorter than the GMPP.
ABeasst. It has been a while since I messed around with the LS1/LS6 intake, but if I remember right, don't they have a "normal" gasket, but a pressed in gasket. I guess I'll see in about a week.
Mine is the Victor Jr. Comes with the fuel rails, but doesn't come with the not-used wire harness. Cost delivered was $411. It is suppose to come with the bungs already machined for the fuel-injectors.

The Vic Jr w/ fuel rails has been out for atleast 3-4 months. We've had about 6 go through the shop already. They're a pretty nice intake. Maybe Summit just finally has gotten their first shipment.

Big Rick. Did you install the intake? If so, I would like to know how they fit, and what head to intake gaskets are needed? Hope the Jr isn't 5 inches taller - but if it is, we'll make it fit

Verdad Gallardo It's not 5 inches taller, lol. Damn it would be a Tunnel Ram if it was. It uses stock OEM intake gaskets. The quality of the intake is no where near that of what Edelbrock uses for it's other intakes. THe casting lines and rough finish is apparent compared to their other intakes. I'm guessing cheap casting designs were used since the market is no where near the size for say a VIC JR for a SBC. But over all, nice intake, not much material to port heavily though. Also for an carb'd EFI converted intake with fuel rails it's fairly cheap $$$ wise.

The only visible difference in size is that the opening on the top already has a raised section, about 1/2" or so more than the GMPP. Basically it negates the need to run a carb spacer like some people do. Beyond that they are pretty close. In both cases you need to do some work to make either fit well under the hood.

Thats a good price.
I am picking mine up today. $350 plus tax for the mainifold and rails with gaskets
I still haven't decided if I am gonna run an elbow and 90mm tb, or just go with a Accufab style 4 barrel tb. I want to run in Super Stock next year, but you can't have a sheet metal elbow in that class.

You can purchase it with or without injector holes. Also with or without fuel rails.
Funny, but one of our moderators discovered that if you order the intake and fuel rails seperately on Summit, it comes out $11 cheaper and both items are in stock. The combo package with the rails is on backorder
