Default best stock fuel rail setup?

I posted this in the fuel section but didn't get any response... it is pretty closely linked with FI anyway...

What STOCK fuel rail can supply the most fuel? It looks like my turbo setup will be around the 600rwhp limit of the plain-old LS1 fuel rail and I don't really want to dive into a full aftermarket rail setup. Is the truck rail, LS2 rail or LS6 support more horsepower?

Thanks, -Dave

not really, the only benefit from any of them is the 97 i believe corvette rail because the fuel pressure regulator is at the rail instead of intank.doing a bit of fuel mods could go along way but not cost that much.Rails you can get for about $150,figure $150 for lines and fittings and a Walbro pump is like $85.You now have a decent fuel setup thatll support the hp more better for not even $400

well I am going to need a regulator anyway... and most aftermarket setups I have seen have the fuel hose by the throttle body running from the left to right rail... I just think that's fuggly. Any alternatives to that? I also don't like how that cylinder in the back gets the least pressure... as if it's not bad enough already that they're getting the most air and running leanest.

If I need a little more room on a stock setup, I'm only looking at minimal $$$$!

Actually modify a stock rail...

Get rid of the crossover pipe....

Turn it into just two seperate stick rails with their own ins and outs.. Then run a Y block or twin pumps and a 3 port adjustable FPR on the return.. ALOT of power that way..

speed inc has a good deal on a fpr or check ebay.....and as far as the crossover you can Y the feed line before the rails so it comes in from the back on each rail.looks cleaner.

How does the truck fuel rail compare?? Is it capable of higher HP? How about the LS2 rail?

LS2 rails are different....ie the intake wont match up without heavy massaging.I was in the same boat as you as i didnt want to touch the fuel setup besides a pump...but if you want over 600rwhp its practically mandatory.search for some cheap rails then start pieceing it together as you get the cash.
