Ask JZ about some of the Borg Warner/Schwitzer turbos...

Some of them look just plain mean...

T76

S400 Inbetween the T76 and T88 in lbs/min.. Likes higher pressure ratios.. Also if you look at the surge line vs peak flow its a really wide map....

I voted for the T-76. It is quite capable of making the power you seek. With C-16 race gas and an air-to-air intercooler, this should be doable. If not, an air-to-water will certainly make it happen.

Is the T76 Q trim capable of 19 psi on a 346-348 motor?

Is this a street car or a strip car?

I think T76 will be a better choice for street cars for the faster than T-88 spool time.

If it is strip car, go for T-88.? It all depends on your goals but not sure if T76 will support 19 or 22 psi boost.

I think it has been concluded that the Q-trim while it will work will not be as efficient as the S-trim and will create a larger restriction and more back presure preturbine then the S wheel. is there a particular reason you would choose the Q over the S, such as you may have one available to you or would you be choosing it as a new purchase where you could elect to use either of the two?

if your only wanting 800rwhp get the t76gts.
Id only get the PTE88 if you were shooting for over 1000rwhp, otherwise it will be to big for the 348 ci motor

If you want the mix of both the 76 spool time and the PT88 power, then the GT42-80 is the unit. Or our S80 unit as well.

thanks guys well for all the info i will need to look into the gt42 and s80 turbos, It is a street car but i will take it to the track one or intill they boot me. i just want a big hp street car the reason i say 800rwhp is cause the motor i have might not make it past that point. Its a gurdled alum. block? so maybe a ls2/6.0 block should have been used but we will see. thanks again
