T6 80's would make it a fun class indeed and their are bunch of avaiable units out there.

I'm all for weight factoring to figure out how to allow the following to race each other:

61mm twins
81mm T6 single
88mm T4 single

The trick is not to scare away the nitrous cars, and not to make the turbo guys run at over 3400 lbs.

How much are the turbo guys usually weighing in at? I mean I look at it like i'm going to be adding a large quantity of weight in the car. it's 3300lb's with me in it now. I got alot left to do for weight reduction. how much are the turbo setups usually adding weight wise?

turbos usally tack on an extra 100lbs.
id be ok weighing 3400lbs with a T4 flanged 88mm
Johns idea of weight pentaties for extra turbos would be a good call if your trying to get more racers in the series.

what do yall think about being able to run larger turbos when running a 6 speed? cause im running a 6 speed with twin t-70's...and there is no way i will be able to keep up with a single 80mm auto car...or the nitrous cars for that matter...other than the 10.5 outlaw class, there is nothing else i can run in that i know of...

btw Jose, i got that turbosmart valve seat, it was the correct one and its now on the car, as soon as i get back in town im gonna fire her up!

Twin 70's should be good for low 8's even 7's, why should you need a break?

Swap some 61's on there for the races...couple turbos aren't that much and then you would have nothing to worry about.

now here's the question from the newbie again... i see a couple people tossing in the 61's, but i thought the maximum size for twins was 60mm? are we just talking about different designations are actual size differences.

im for a rule change for e/m of
62mm twins
81mm T6 single
88mm T4 single

and give the nos cars another 150lb less race weight so that we dont overload the turbo and supercharger cars

also maybe a procharger f2 series aloud

heck the fastest car of the series was a nos car
