Not my fault you don't run enuff car to make the car feel safe, next time you can borrow a set of tires from me and try to run 14_mph. It's pretty cool.

So your car lost horsepower, huh? Wow... with my car making 90 horsepower more... I'm sure I'll run a good number. Granted... my car is a street car and is heavy... but it'll go. Oh... btw... I had the 'Bird up to an estimated 180 mph on the street. I was screwing around with a bike once... I think I surprised him just a bit. I got out of the car a few minutes later and my hands were shaking and my heart was pounding. That was the first and last time that I will ever do that. Boy... that was dumb.

I don't want to get into a pissing match with you Mitch, but just so you know, most fast systems don't read 100 percent at wot.

They are usually between 75-85% at wot, (but should be set up to be at least 80% at wot so clear flood mode still works).

Anyway, to claim that you have enough coordination to hold a 6-speed blower car at exactly 68% throttle going down the entire track is just about impossible.

It's more likely that the cable was misadjusted, not giving wot when floored (which should have been found on the dyno), or, it doesn't read 100% at WOT, or both.

After you made the 68% throttle comment, I thought that was wierd. So I asked a guy at FAST what he thought about that.

Lezz be friends,

John.

And at least I went into the 144mph zone.

Might seem like a dumb question. But why dont they ?

Any aftermarket ecu Ive used, regardless of brands you must set the closed and WOT throttle stops during initial setup. So regardless of what car, or TPS used, you have a proper 0-100% scaling.

Don't make assumptions about things that you have no knowledge of.

I never made a claim that I have enough coordination to hold a 6-speed blower car at exactly 68% throttle going down the entire track. Don't put words in my mouth. The MAXIMUM throttle postion was 68%. Throughout the entire run it was even less. Man... I wish I saved that data log.

The cable is not misadjusted. Don't try to throw a shot out about it being tuned on the dyno. It was tuned properly and it also was tuned on the street for great drivability. It does go to full wide open throttle. Yes... it does not go to 100%... that is true. But it does get into the 90% range according to the FAST data log. I always drive with my lap top so that I can monitor what's going on... just call me Paul Walker.

Yeah... at least I went in the 180 mph zone on the street (dumb nevertheless).
