Hey, what do you guys think?
Every day street car, comp ratio will be with that of using f.i. in mind, looking to use a beefy m6 and stout Moser rear..9" most liekly..
I was thinkin d-1sc procharger, but then i heard ill slip belts and constantly blow bad times..cuz a turbo is easier to maintain and tune, less worries.
So i was thikin a nice 76'er turbo. I am leaning into the turbo w/ air to air i/c...
Remember, my engine will also run on pump gas.. and most likely never see the track more than 2 or 3x in a year...
A good turbo kit can make a lot of power, but is harder to get off the line with an M6. You will more than likely end up having more money into a well built turbo kit.
Since you are going to hardly ever be at the track, you have to determine how much power you really want to make, and how much money you want to put into it. Bob
but if you want a turbo then id look for a T6 flanged unit with around a 1.15 AR
unless you dont plan boosting to high then you might get away with an .96 AR
Tti 80 race kit... but i have to worry about ****** header crackin..with a turbo kit.
I will however, consider this route, since this is praised highly among the turbo options out there...
