Problems with turbo kit STS need help
Problems with turbo kit STS need help I just installed an sts kit and I started it up and oil is leaking from the turbine area? I don't have the exhaust tip installed yet so I could see oil pouring from the turbine. What could be the problem, the oil pump works I tested it, what could be flooding the system.
Make sure the pump is going in the right direction. If there is that much oil, then I am reasonably sure that is your issue.
Take one of the oil return hoses off the pump and see if its sucking or blowing. Turbo side should suck and the pump exit side should blow. If its not, reverse the wires on the top of the pump.

At least it will be an easy fix!

check this too or he has the center oiling housing upside down!
I did that by mistake and mine leaked quite a bit!
make sure the feed is uptop with the restictor and exhaust or return to the valve cover is on the bottom. I was trying to get it done too fast and spun it all the the wrong way. It leaked pretty bad internally and all I did was let it sit for about an hour after i started it and the return line dumped into the turbo..
I did that by mistake and mine leaked quite a bit!
