I'd look at the caspers thing Ed, I never tried one but if MM says it works its a much easier and cheaper solution. You wont hurt anything in the car with a couple extra volts for the short WOT time. I'm even thinking of trying one just to give the ignition itself a little boost at WOT.

Here's one the W-body guys use - probably the same as the others. I think it's a little cheaper though. "Flocharger"

Here's the link to the Caspers one.
https://www.casperselectronics.com/M.../merchant.mvc?

Nice price and if MM say's it works, I'm sure it does.

I decided to put my old tune back in, before I was having problems. And my AFR is back to 11.7 :dunno:

And yes I ordered the Casper Unit. Hopefully that will make me safe enough to spray again.

I'm interested in knowing how this thing works compared to the MSD and KB BAP.

Well, I installed it today. Logged it with EFI. I saw no change in voltage @ WOT.

I did have to extend the wire that connected to the alternator positive terminal.

Did not want to hear that, hope I have better luck with mine. Are you going to give Caspers a call to see if they have any input?

I was interested to see someone link to the Flowcharger. I have had one in the GTO, although it is currently simply serving as a relay. With a full 13.x volts from the alternator, the Walbro 255 l pump has not had trouble keeping up. But, it is ready to be boost activated as needed!

Has anyone tried just using an electric tps senor connected to a relay t-ed into the stock wiring to the pump. You could adjust the tps switch to trigger at a set tps value. It would up the voltage to alternator voltage.

It cleared up my lean out at 6300.

But not enough to get any more HP out.

So I will have to get a BAP. 20 amp or 40 amp?

I spoke with Kenne Bell customer service last week and those muggles suggested the 40 amp version.

I'm having a MSD fuel pump booster and hot wire kit installed on monday. Exotic Performance has been installing the MSD unit. We'll see how it goes. Their dyno is down due to just moving so it might be a week until it gets tuned.

I know Lingenfelters have them in stock right now, but I don't know if any of the vendors here do. Bob
