Yeah it's true, there were some funny looking 1.54 60' at 9.9 and 141mph passes with ET Street Radial tires and 94 octane pump gas at about 14lbs of boost. The logs look silly with a couple of clear .5s breaks (one in each of the passes) with 0% throttle and few toe-ins while trying to stay in the proper lane. So maybe a few tenths left at the table along the way for a 3700lbs car.
But hey, it's just the street car that I drop my kids off at school and daycare with during the week. So it's nothing too exciting. Then again, maybe there is more in there with C-16 this year. That's what winter bench racing is all about.

Well, 2005 is what is it is, and if you wanted to run faster you could have. Kind of like 2004 where I want some 10.3@136mph passes with belt issues. I had a custom strut brace built and voila the car went 144mph the following year with no other changes. I could also talk about how:
-I spun half a car on the 1.35/9.40@143mph pass
-I was only running 19 degrees of timing with C16
-Was only making 18 lbs of boost
.... But in the end, it is what it is.
You might want to check your suspension, the biggest reason I went from 9.6 1.45 to 9.4 on a 1.35 was getting a new alignment, dropping the front end of the car and going to rod/rod lca's. On the 9.6 passes my car was all over the track and I should have lifted.
(back to the winter bench racing)...
Ernie said that 'tech might try to rent Milan this year, and if it happened then the 'tech event would follow a W2W Friday program. He likes that drag radial class that they have.
