Ya, ive got a wideband sensor in my gauge pod right now.

I guess it is worth trading in my ls1edit for HPT?

it edits the pcm and can monitor live settings too right?

Thanks, I know youve been following my threads for a while.

Im sure it cant be something too bad if it was tuned by allan.

Hopefully it has nothing to do with the tune because of the temperature change from LA to AZ.

well, went to lunch with the car, gave it a few WOT runs in 1st and 2nd, and it started over heating.

I called up Allan and he said it should be fine once I put some more water in it, guess it was short on water.

That car is a blast though!

I'd dump Edit and pick up EFILive or even HPT, both are far superior to Edit. EFILive is more powerful, and has an awesome black box for logging data (no laptop needed. Get one of the two and tie your WB02 into the software and log a lot of data. You have a lot of $ tied up in that engine, make sure you know what's happening (logging) for a while to protect your investment!

The FMIC is flush with the air dam.

As far as clearence is concerned, I thought the Waste gates were a little low, but im not worried about that so much as with the 4 in piping out the back.

The lowest part of the ride is the magnaflow muffler, which is probably close to approx. 2 inches or so off the ground.

The good thing about it is that because its towards the middle of the car, its not quite as bad going over speed bumps and stuff since it has room to travel, but Ive scraped it a few times already just driving around, so it is kind of touchy.

I was able to go out and get some video footage of the car.

It turns out the AC was on and I believe that is why it overheated.

Now that I was able to actually drive the car and not be on a specific schedule due to work, I was able to get a good feel for the car.

The car has amazing drivability characteristics.

I can control when i want to get in boost, and am starting to be able to control part throttle runs while in partial boost.

If I do floor it the RPMS jump up so fast its hard to shift at red line without being worried about hitting the limiter, but im getting the hang of it.

Car pulls very fast from a 3rd gear pull.

On monday I plan on cleaning up the car, getting some pictures and posting up an edited video with hopefully getting some day time video too.

So far though after reviewing last night's escapades, you can definately hear the spool and BOV in the video, so you guys wont be disappointed.

2"!?!?!?!?! Wow. Wouldnt survive around here. Maybe you can get some oval tubing and have someone build you a 'catback' with a slim spintech muffler. Definately get some pictures of the clearance on the ground.

So what are your coolant temps driving around? Have you logged anything yet?

coolant temps are around 210 or so when driving around. I was in boost a lot last night from all the runs i did and it never went over 210, which is awesome.

Temps last night out side was probably close to mid 50's, low 60's though, so im sure that helped.

As far as clearence goes, ill get some pictures probably on monday.

From what I could tell, it looked like he tucked the exhuast as high and close to the body as possible, I guess 4 in tubing is just a little bigger then id expect.

When i get the pics up you'll see what Im talkinga bout.

I fixed a few of the typos in your list, mighty impressive I might add.

You might want to get HPTuners in case you want to tweak anything.

I'd like to see some more new pictures when you get a chance.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Don't forget to take an hour at some point and go over clamps and stuff, and make sure you check the oil and water regularly. Remember you make a ton of power right now.
