what STS provides for oiling will work.

popcorn butter? uhhhhhh that sounds like a popped headgasket.

try draining your oil and see if it's milky.

head gaskets were fine before this. We haven't even taken the car out of the driveway so its not like we could have blown something. The oil coming from the return line was fine looking. It only becomes that color when spewing out of the turbo. We did take measures to break in the pump. Other people i believe have mentioned using a nitrous jet to reduce the oil flow. Any ideas?

Check and make sure the scavenge pump is coming on and make sure the pressure switch is working properly. If the pump isnt working and everything is hooked up properly the buzzer should go off. The reason the color of the oil is that color is because the engine will produce condensation when it is running. When the oil leaks from the turbo it causes the butter colored oil. I'm sure that if you go over your check list you will find the problem.

You might want to check and make sure you tightened all the housing bolts on the turbo to.

so I've got an update. Turned out to be a bad tap splice. Pump just wasn't going at all. Fixed it and the problem is fixed. The only issue now is that the exaust pipe to the turbo won't clamp down and there isn't a single exhaust shop open.

Give me a little more detail about the exhaust.

Well, the exhaust pipe that connects to the turbo at the back of the car needs to be welded. The supplied clamp doesn't do enough and thus no exhaust is pushing the turbo. I need to get that pipe welded.

It slides over the exhaust pipe but the clamp want tighten enough? And I am guessing that you are getting some exhaust gas leaking out of the pipe.

You say its not pushing the turbo. Have you driven the car yet?

haven't driven the car yet. when i give it a good ammount of gas it will spin the turbo. Yes there is basically a huge leak out of the pipe. It is a big problem now b/c we are done, it is leaking, and that pipe also serves as a major support for the turbo.

Make sure the pipe is all the way on and tighten it up with an impact. Get it as tight as the impact will make it.

Just sitting still the turbo is not going to spool up much. You want see any boost sitting still. It has to have a load on it. If you want to drive it, it should be ok as long as the pipe clamp is as tight as you can get it. If you want to you can weld it later. Tighten that pipe and check all your silicone connectors and go drive it and see what it does. Take it easy for a little while and let the turbo go threw a heat cycle before you get on it to hard.
