How much hosepower is the stock turbo with the sts kit good for.

The turbo on that kit is rated at 650 chp. Thats whats on my truck.

most guys get the gt67 upgrade i read alot about the stock turbo dumping at the top of the rpm range.as for your question i think it can make a little over 600 the 67 is good over 700.on a stock motor at 5psi you gonna be making about 415 maybe. hope this helps

GT67 is good for 750 chp, if you plan on 700rwhp you may want to consider a GT70, although the 67 should get you close ...but at 700rw will not be completely efficient.
