For the past year I've been telling my girlfriend that as soon as I win the lotto I'm buying a CTD, an enclosed trailer, and bringing my car to W2W. No she can see why

Oh man, post more pics! I REALLY want to see what the interior is going to look like (dash, etc.).

Is the underside and inside of the body powdercoated silver or painted silver? I think I remember a thread about powdercoating the cage and non-paint parts.

Others do exist for the HP6 style big filter but we have had good luck with them. Kurt may have some input but he is in California for the week.

For as much as they get changed on race cars I don't think it would make that much of a difference. I mean, if you break something the filter isn't going to prevent much.

I know the Frams have a history of valve failure and such, but as Kev mentioned, this thing will get very frequent oil changes.

I don't think the racing filters and the OEM replacements fit into the same category. I ran Fram HP6's on mine without a problem, other than they are $20+ each and hold nearly 2 quarts

This is true also and if I'm not mistaken Fram was one of the first to offer a filter that big then some other companies made a cross reference for it.

You borrowed a turbo from a Kenworth, no reason not to borrow the oil filter too.

Surprised when I saw the pic of the interior, that there was no lip on the gas pedal so the driver can pull the pedal back up, if it gets stuck to the floor. Not that it's probably a concern, but I thought that was a rule or something.

Looks awesome though.. with that MASSIVE rear tire in the back, it has got to be the meanest looking 4th gen car period. Gives me thoughts of tubbing my junk LOL.

That only works for solid linkage, they're probably using a cable.

They run that to an elevated filler neck and block off the filler part that the radiator normally has...at least that's how it was when mine was there and Kurt was explaining it to me...keeps air pockets from developing.

Are there two at the back that go to the filler neck too? Where are they locating the new remote filler?

The front and back both go to the filler can. It is mounted higher than the engine on the passenger side downbar to help keep air out of the cylinder heads. You can see it in the picture in post 236 of this thread.
