Goodmorning boys, Still working on a lot of detail stuff as well as plumbing the brakes but our carbon wheel tubs have arrived.
The Lexan windshield is from Percy's and the front and rear bumper covers or carbon from the vendor in Canada which I don't know how to spell is name.

43 pages of this thread and I have come to a realization...
1.) I don't make near enough money
2.) I have a small *****....very very small....
This thread is very nice to see what goes into a true race car, the kind of which we all have seen in terms of a final product but maybe never truly appreciated before.

Dash looks great. Nice and clean.
I can't believe more of you hard-core folks wouldnt use something like the racepak dash. Even before BS3 is/was able to integrate to it, it was usable for tach, and like 4-5 other functions--replacing all those gauges. Now that BS3 is plug and play it seems everyone is doing it. I've see two mustang buildups on turbomustangs.com using the BS3 box with that CAM output.
Are you guys using any other gauges? Is BS3 logging everything or will the UDX be doing some?
I have a ton more questions, but rather than clog the thread, I'll let you guys post pics and I'll eventually find out. Definately need to update that gallery page with every pic.

I believe we may do all monitoring and logging through the race pack and BS3. It really is a nice clean set up and works well for fast cars considering one glance straight down is all it takes.
And I'll leave you guys with one more for the night.
It's starting to look a little tougher

I believe they are going to test it and see how it goes. If it needs it they will cut it.
If you seen the way we mount bumpers there is NO way that thing will cave in. It almost looks like a cow catcher behind the cover...

See....you didn't post a pic of the bumper mounting so I don't know how you did it
I'm sure some bracing will eleviate most caving issues. Is that a VFN nose/hood? VanOverbeek hood?

I tried shooting it on the car but it is all black and doesn't turn out well. We have the same thing on Whitey's ride which I will be able to shoot.
All carbon pices are VanOverbeek including the rear cover also.
