Pressure spikes can be from an under-sized or faulty WG, but are often caused by other things such as a poorly designed system or mismatched turbo. Usually what you'll see with an under-sized WG is the boost creeping up slowly (not instant spikes) above your desired set point as rpms increase at lower boost settings. At higher boost settings the problem will often disappear since the WG doesn't have to vent as much.

2000 tran zam you said something in a previous post about spinning a bearing. What was that all about? Do you know why it spun?

ya, when I had heads/cam I spun a bearing in the motor.

I think the needle bearing in the rocker arm cam out and clogged up the oil pump, so when I was racing that supra I had no lubrication and there for fucked my cars **** up

Its ok, on to better things right?

we'll just say its a little more then double of what the car its self is worth

No, but actually, I got away with it cheap since :

1. it was paid cash.

2. it took a bit longer then expected, so he cut me a break on the price a lil.

Quality is 2nd to none though.

Lol, Im tryin, but Im not comfortable doing an all out 1st->2nd gear shift unless Im on a 4 lane high way by my self because it kicks very hard turning the car almost 45* to the right.

I dont really get into boost at all when Im driving normally unless necessary, but it is addicting wanting to hear the BOV every time, lol.

BTW I hope your starting to feel better.

Also, any idea if you got the rest of my heads/cam, clutch and other stuff ready to ship back? I can give you another address to ship it to once you have it all ready.

be careful man, that's what i was talking about , with the rear kicking out. Go get some BFG's or Mickey Thompsons and drive on them full time.

You still have working ac correct?

Ya ac is working, however I think its kind of nulled out because when I first got the car back, it started over heating when I got into boost when the ac was on.

I dont know if thats a combonation because the water/coolant was low, and/or because the ac was on.

Ill do some more testing soon to find out for sure what causes it to warm up.

But ya, normal driving its perfectly fine, when you floor it under boost thats when it starts to get scary.

My tread is kind of low too though in the defense of my tires, lol, so im gonna be ordering another pair shortly.

I dont know that bfg makes a 315x35x17 tire for my zr1's, so i might have to stick with nitto.
