Right Click SAVE AS

Go to the track, don't worry about launching just work your way up in RPMs out of the hole. Start by walking it out and let the turbo work the rest of the way. With your set up you can have all sorts of fun at the track giving head starts and then mowing em down at the top end.

I didn't have a roll bar for the longest time, I just did a lot of 1/8mi runs then two 1/4 mi runs and ended my night....redid it the next weekend again and again and again I finally gave in and welded in a bar.

If all the turbo guys posted vids like this, more people would be going with a turbo instead of everything else...I'd love to see a full boost run from 3rd to 5th gear, throw those slicks on and do some launching on the street

Okay. Maybe it's time to stop paying around with internet video hosting and cut a deal on a new DVD for retailers to sell. This video could be Volume #1.

Yeah, I've seen your video myself already about 6 times. I'll watch it again before I go to sleep.

lol, I wonder how you'd get started making movies like that?

My fav part of the video is right at 2:27, right as its spooling and then the BOV hits.

HA! Gotcha!

I know which part you're talking about, of course!

I much prefer 1:54 myself. More of a gritty sound, gives me the chills!

well, i called the insurance company before I did this. They told me just to keep the reciepts and id be covered. Its wierd, cause insurance never went up.

Emissions out here isnt too bad. As long as Im not throwing a code and I either pass visual or they dont check for visual, then it will be no problem. They dont do sniffer here on 96+ cars, so im safe in that sense.

Man.. I donno.. I don't think I'd be wasting the engine/turbo life out racing a car with junkyard numbers on it.. just sounds like a waste of wear/tear... otherwise sweet vid tho.. Blowoff valve sounds really good.. I'd definately go et street radials.. at least try to get w.o.t. into 3rd.. lol. Otherwise it's gonna be sick when some 12-13 foxbody holeshots you, and then lets off before you catch up when it actually starts hooking at 80mph.

Peace,
Josh

What I meant was the impound or junkyard numbers whatever on the $200 car you were racing in the vid. If your gonna do the deed.. do it on something worth while.. if ya know what I mean.. having killed several clutches/6 speeds.. you'll see what I mean

FWIW: My car dead hooked to a 2.1 60' on street tires basically stock.. lol. My last car was a 6 speed and did low 1.60's. That doesn't change the fact that I'd suggest a better tire than a nitto. I daily drove et streets non-radials for a while, and they aren't that bad.. I'd think et-street radials or at least bfg's would be fine. Nitto's hardly hook better than stock at that power level in 1st and 2nd gear... I seriously doubt bfg's would be THAT beneficial.. *whistle*

Peace,
Josh

R6? Good race, if he's a good rider he's going to hold you off til past 100 pretty easy, but on topend you will pull him... Just be careful.. don't wanna hit somebody with no metal around em.

Peace,
Josh
