Crazylegs,
I would like to clear the air on this subject.
The GTO that Ronnie bought: Although I have never seen it in person, I'm sure its a nice car. Looks great in pictures. Jason and crew have it flying for sure.

The race that Ronnie proposed had one rule that we required be fufilled before we raced him, with or without N20. Ronnie refused the race requirement we had so the race did not happen(it never will).

Any claims you make are cool with me as long as they are true. You can claim "fastest single power adder", just don't claim fastest or first in the sixes because W2W was first in the sixes and is still the fastest LS based engine.

Thats frigging retarded. Its 2 power adders....Don's post made the most sense.Crazylegs post was ok,he just needed to be a bit more specific.................my question is what was the other requirement for the race to happen?Oh and btw crazylegs,i absolutely LOVE the idea about being able to watch your motor being built, gives people the warm fuzzy feeling.Great idea

Why setup a race with a car that was built/designed/tuned for 2 power adders then ask them to remove one for the race? If they took one off it would be a totally different car and wouldn't really prove anything IMO. Seems more like a "run whatcha brung and hope you brung enough" kind of deal to me too. But that's just me.....

I dont see what the big deal is......... Hardcore can go as fast as they want and prob will beat W2W's current record..... Kurt and the crew at W2W dont care who really is the fastest with what ever or how ever many power adders.... all they wanted was to be the 1st in the 6's with a GenIII motor and they did that...... and noone can ever take that away from them.... no matter how fast anyone goes..........
I know on here alot of people dont care for Hardcore and this has come up time and time again....... Every one is entitled to there own opinion.....
Lets keep this civil guys....... this sint a who's better then who thread

Lol, 2 turbos, 4 turbos, 6 turbos, etc = single power adder.

By that logic, a direct port system is 8 power adders.

I vote for Kurt to strap on some 74's or 76's and run the same number without the spray

Wow...Hardcore never ceases to amaze me. There's more hardcore hype and advertising than any shop I've ever seen. Not saying its undue hype or that I wouldn't advertise the same way, but between having to give a bunch of info to see guys work on cars and the quote from that other thread about a "7 second 06 Z06," you've got me laughing a little bit.

Nice paint job though.

How many races and how many hours have spent on Ronnie's car?

The W2W car (Moran's) basically went together, did some shake downs, and then went 6's only to prove a point. W2W does not have a full time "race team" as Hardcore does. W2W accomplished this in their spare time as a fun project. If W2W spent as much time worrying about going faster I am sure they would be at 6.50's already.

There's some serious here!!!! My guy only has this, your guy paid for that... who gives a F***??? Some of you guys need to quit being such a mark and give props where props are due. I don't give a **** who it is, running under 8 seconds is f***ing fast. Running <7 is just insane!

Congrats to both parties for running these numbers!

SORRY....I was out getting some repairs done to my wheelchair....Like I said we are not taking anything away from W2W. Congrats to them again I will say. Sorry we said fastest LS1. We will retract that statement and say fastest LS1 with one power adder or fastest LS1 with a Supercharger. All I was trying to do is give you guys something cool to look at. Also in my experience there is a difference between one or two turbos. If there wasn't then they would only run one. Plus at the races they will tell you only one power adder which means in stage of nitrous, one turbo, or one supercharger. They also say any power adder, which means as many stages of nitrous you want or as many turbos as you want. That is just the races I have been too.

If it was so easy everyone would be in the 7's or 6's. Question is where are they all at:
Nick A. 8.54 nitrous
Kurt Urban 8.52 supercharged in Ronnie's car
Matt Harlan 8.29 turbo
Jason McNeil 8.11 supercharged
Jason McNeil 7.94 supercharged
Steve T. 8.21 turbo
Steve Oday 8.29 turbo
Mike Moran 6.86 turbo in W2W
Jason McNeil 6.95 supercharged
Ronnie Duke 7.93 supercharged

Why is it there are more supercharged car than anything else!!!
