Default ProCharger questions

With the mods listed below should I go with the pro charger p1sc or d1sc. What is the max boost with the stock motor. What kind of rwhp will it make.

The P-1SC and the D-1SC both use the same external case, it is the internals that are different. The P-1SC should bring in boost sooner than the D1SC, but I really can't tell a difference. What you can tell is that for each blower to make x amount of boost, the P-1SC has to be spun faster by using a smaller pulley. Faster blower speeds means more heat will be built to a certain degree. Unless you live in Ca, and need the P-1SC's 50 state certification, or plan on keeping your car pretty stock, I would go with the D-1SC. If you build your engine into a stroker with better flowing heads, cam, etc, and you want to make 12 psi on up, the P-1SC won't be able to make the boost.
The difference in price when making the initial order is less than $200.00, but if you send in a P-1SC to have it made into a D-1SC, it is approx $1,200.00. Bob
