Default What kind of power are you 76mm guys making

If you guys could post the engine ci, which turbo kit and what turbo... GT42, PTE, turbonetics, etc. that would be great.

dont know still not done with the install.

I dont know if you remember me or not.I posted pic.s on fbody.com of my pass. header that I built.if you want me to post more pic.s on fbody let me know.I just got the engine started last night.

My setup consists of stock block filled with piston and rods. It has a set of stock truck heads and a stock cam. It does have an LS6 intake with a home ported TB. Two pumps in the tank, -8 feed, rails, and 60 lbs injectors. First time at the dyno on 8.5 psi it made 515 horse and 540 torque. It is a PTK kit with a 76 GTS.

Since then I have a little bit better tune and I am working on a cut out. We will see what it does.

Local mustang guy went bottom 9's around 155 with a 76. 3200 lbs and it wasn't even a super clean pass. He'll prolly chime in.

302 based motor (331 cube maybe) and I believe a precision turbo but not sure.

I'll have stock-inch LS1 (forged) numbers from a PTK w/76gts to post hopefully in the next 10-14 days...

....would have been sooner, save for the God of Turbo Delay who hath cast his mighty rod down onto... well you get the picture...

99SS-T, those are awesome numbers but keep in mind he is on a GT42 frame. Completely different turbo. This will be the turbo I am trying to fit in hopefully

Thanks for the prop's, but I bet it would be way over 710 with a 6 speed. I calculated 23% slip at peak hp based on rpm and mph dynojet graphs. Also, check this out:

I actually agree with you, I was just being really conservative. With all of that said...you have a nice set up

Haha, I just read that mustang post. A glide will KILL dyno numbers

Nice Mike. Are those dyno numbers with the 383ci or the new displacememnt. If not with the 383, can you post numbers on the 383 setup.

Oh jeez, now you had to complicate things. . . here's the drama:

Original dyno with 383 cid, Vortech intercooler (3 psi pressure drop), 90 deg miter intake piping, 52 mm TB, unported LT4 intake, and 18 - 19 psi: 680 rwhp.

Later dyno with 383 cid, 2.5x bigger Bell intercooler, long radius intake piping, 58 mm TB, raised runner LT4 intake, 19 - 20 psi, and a washer stuck in the exhaust housing (doh!): 675 rwhp.

Most recent dyno with 363 cid and no washer stuck in the exhaust housing at 20 - 21 psi: 670 rwhp.

Either there's something wrong with my current combo, or the 383 flat-out made more power. Dyno testing has show that 355 cid will make more power than 383 cid with the T-76. That's why I say I don't have the kinks worked out yet and I expect ~80 more rwhp.
