I've seen tuners play that game before, usually with good reason.

Zombie, did you run that car at 11psi on the stock bottom end with the 67mm? How long did you run it that way? Everytime that I've hit 10 or 11 psi, the buzzer for the oil pump goes off. How to get around that?

Sounds good. I'll have to check that out. Also, I've been looking for a different cam, a more boost-friendly cam. I currently have the TR 224/244 .563 112 cam, and was looking at 3 others:
-TR 224/227 .563/.569 114 LSA
-Comp 212/218 .558/.563 115 LSA
-Comp 224/230 .581/.588 114 LSA
Keep in mind I'm taking the car to 6800 or so. Do you like any of these cams? Suggestions?

I've run 16 psi on my stock bottom end with the 67, not that it made any more power though, felt like it was done at 13. Ran for 15k miles, boost and power doesn't hurt anything, detonation does. I'm working on tuning two other cars with stock bottom ends right now, the one will see around 17 psi with a t76, we are only up to 10 psi right now and backed it down to 8psi until he gets his fuel system done, the 100k mile stock pump works suprisingly well The other car is completely stock with a STS kit, T67 and a front mount. I have him tuned for 14psi on 100 octane and the car is a blast to drive. Spools really fast and it made 500 rwhp at 4500 rpms, 600 tq. We couldn't get readings above that because it would blaze the crappy tires he had on the dyno.

The stock bottom is plenty strong as long as it's tuned well and you babysit the hell out of it. That means monitoring knock all the time, monitoring a/f, using good gas and water/meth to add even more octane and keep things cool.

If the buzzer is going off just up the pressure switch to a higher setting. It's most likely going off because of pressure in the crank case.

If you like drivability and good gas milage use the stock cam or a z06 cam Why are you revving it so high?

Why not? I'm not worried about gas mileage or drivability, I'm worried about power!

FWIW I plan on a 7000 limiter and shifting it at 6500 max. I had my limiter at 6700 on the stock motor.

OK....i'll give it a shot. It was making peak hp at around 6000, so, 6300-6400 makes sense.

It definately does not take 600 hp to get in the tens.

I thought it was more exhaust than intake.

you want maximum of both (intake is responsible for sucking air in, exhaust for spooling up the turbo), but you can't have overlap or you're screwed (blowby). turbo cams like more lift than duration, under pressure you dont' need much time to push the air in.

So, what cam specs would be optimal? I'm looking for examples.

This is one way to cool down the intake charge while doing a 1/4mile pull on a dyno!

Just to let you guys know, the car ran a 10.79 at 130 at the track two weeks later. Our dyno seems to be pretty much in the ballpark

RedHard, I wouldnt share the file with you because its not your car/setup and I wouldnt want the wrong tune in for the wrong car PM me if there are any questions and Ill do my best to make a good recommendation
