I cant see it being a injector o ring, to loose that much. Are you running a 6 or 8 rib? 3.4 is as low as you can go. What size crank ulley are you running 7-5/8 with a 3.4 is as small as you can go. Sure it is not belt slip, any belt dust.
I would see a good 9 psi with a 3.7.

The question is at what rpm are you making said boost?

I have a P1SC and a 3.55" pulley, I get 9 psi at 6000 rpm. I am told it's a 11 psi pulley but that's at 7000 rpm which I'm not going to see (or want to) with a totally stock LS1.

not sure ill measure the crank pulley its an 8 rib and very little dust after a couple hundred miles? any ideas? im going to do a smoke test to look for boost leak but i thought you could get more boost out of a d1? i shift a 6500 about 8.5 psi max when cold

Its belt slippage for sure if u have the stock 8 rib ATI setup. I was running 4.25" SC pulley with the stock ATI 7.65" crank pulley and got 7.5-8psi at 6700RPM. Then i changed to 8.5" crank pulley and 4.25 SC pulley and got 11psi at 6700RPM. After that i switched to a SDCE setup with 3.85 SC pulley and 7.25" crank pulley and got 11-12psi at 6700RPM or so. With your pulley combo u should be running the blower at 60000 or so. You should be seeing 12psi at the least with the stock 8 rib ATI setup so you are having major belt slippage or something is leaking badly.

The lesson is that the stock ATI tension setup is only good for 50000-52000RPM impeller speed and after that you will start getting belt slippage. If you compare the pulley combo for getting 11psi with the ATI 8 rib setup and 11psi with the SDCE setup u will notice that ATI is running at 55000RPM to get 11psi while SDCE setup is running at only 51800RPM and sometimes even see 1 more psi. That is 3000 RPM less from the SDCE to achieve the same amount of boost if not more. So you can imagine at 62000RPM which is the max for D-1SC the difference would be huge between the two setups. Im thinking 11-12psi with stock ATI setup due to belt slippage Vs. 15-16psi in SDCE setup. Although i hate SDCE customer service and it took us forever to get my stuff and one blank crank pulley that we had to take to a mechine shop to make the holes so we can use it... i must admit that their product does work.

Good luck

The SDCE setup is $675. You send in your main bracket and they modify it.

Before you do anything, I would first adjust the tension on the blower belt so that it barely has any play in it at all. These blower belts have to be tighter than what you would normally adjust belt tension to. Bob

What he said! Make it tight! You must be getting belt slip!

My setup, SDCE 7.25 crank pulley, 4 in SC pulley = 11 - 12 lbs.

Stock motor, LS6 intake, Stock MAF, Ported TB, headers, 1.85 rockers.
