I was just wondering what some of you guys think. I have two options. #1 is to go with forced induction whuch is a procharger d-1sc at 8lbs. with all the necessary items.(injectiors,tuning) Or I could go with all motor. Which would be heads,cam,and little things like water pump, throttle body, fast 90/90 system,and 4.10 gears. My goal is low 11's on slicks. Please help on which set-up would get me to low 11's first and easiest.tHANKS.

Without stroking the motor and/or using nitrous for your NA scenario, I see your ET goal being achieved much more easily with the 8 psi Procharger set-up, which obviously would be more expensive though.

yeah I do have the money for both options I have 5,000 waiting to be used.LOL. But seriously, i do have all the money for everything I would need for both the sc and the heads and cam. thats including a tune and all that. thanks for the help.

I believe all the opinions you get from this thread will be slightly bias. That being said, my vote is for the SC or even better, a turbo!

Supercharger equals easy horsepower (if the supporting cast is there). Hell I even had to pulley down because I was seeing 13 pounds of boost on stock engine.

So I guess the majority vote is on the s.c. Also Can I order any pulley size from ATI? Like a 10lb pulley?

Yes you can. However I would order it from Bob at EPP because it will cheaper.

will 10lbs. be ok on a stock motor? Also what E.t.s do you think I could see with 10lbs, pacesetter lt, 2600 conveter , and slicks?

I have been ruuning 10 pounds of boost for a couple of months now with no problems. What ets will you see is unknown due to many variables like grip, weather, driver, etc, etc. See what you get and make adjustments as you go.
