Default t60 or t67

Having a forged 347 9.5/1 compression built. Going w/ZO6 cam stock heads. My question is to make 500-600rwhp should I upgrade my t60 to a t67(STS kit). Current mods FMIC,Mac headers w/ORY,ASP pulley.New mods 42# or 60# inj.(not sure yet) and ZO6 cam & springs.

Id suggest LQ9 heads to lower the compression a little bit. If your setups not done yet also consider 918s and possibly a LPE GT7 cam. Then you should be able to run 9-10 psi on a safe tune (if your FMIC is decent) and make an easy 500+rwhp on a 60 trim. I believe theres a few on here that have made 550-600+ on their 60s before swapping to a 67trim

edit: btw go for the 60# instead of 42s. theyll start to run outa steam after 550hp. May as well go bigger from the start.

both those turbo's are to small for 347ci the power will fall off in the upper rpm's try to get T76gts

The T60 will fall on its face around 5000-5200rpm (tough to make 600rwhp @ 5000rpm). Get the T67 so you can make power to 6k and you'll see some big HP gains.

isnt a 67 a good size for a 347, i thought 76 was more for a 370ci+ application. Theres plenty of guys makin good power out of their 67s. Depending on budget id say hes good with a 60 up to roughly 500-525hp. Then from there its def time to step up to 67. just my .02

well put a 347ci engine on a t67's compressor map and then put it on t76's and you will see which works better. Sure the T67 can make the power he wants just that it will be more or less maxed out and won't do as well in the upper rpm range. If he's doing a built engine why not have a turbo with some room to grow. And the T76 will make the same power as the t67 at lower boost which will help with his pump gas #'s since he's running 9.5:1. It's not like the Ls1 will have a problem spooling it, even though it's going in the back

Go with 60# injectors... and with the 67.... the 60 will not give you 600RWHP in an STS setup. It is cheaper to take your 60 and have it upgraded with the 67 wheel... dont buy a new turbo. If you want to buy a new turbo... with a 347 I would reccomend a 70 or 72.

Upgrade to 67 wheel? is that the only difference from a t60 & t67-sorry for the dumb Questions kinda new w/FI. Also, I really dont want no more than 600rwhp i want to stay in the 500's.
