PTS Turbo install complete!!! Holy S***
I never thought the day would come, with the proven existence of the Turbo God of Delay (Good one Frost ) and all, but it's here.
I was called by the folks at Revextreme, Tampa, FL to let me know my car was ready.
PTS kit w/ a T-70, Moser 12-bolt, BMR torque arm, Spec Stage 3 clutch, etc. on a stock bottom end.
Burning oil was fixed w/ an electric scavenger pump. The gravity-feed design would burn some oil. Problem gone.
Some fabbing was done to solve clearance issues because of the position of the crossover pipe and the fact thet I'm lowered. Done...
They told me they observed some trouble while on the dyno getting an accurate load on the turbo. It dyno'd around 460 rwhp at 7 psi though it reacted much differently with boost on the street... something about their dyno not being able to load the rear wheels. Using other cars at the shop as reference and judging the acceleration on the street, the installer says it's got to have at least 500 rwhp. I can't wait to see the curve.
I'm driving up to Tampa tonight to pick up the car, take some pics, etc. and post up again tomorrow or Sunday on this thread. I'm really excited to join the "boosted club."

Man, I don't need that much encouragement! If you guys keep talking me up, I may make it back to Miami but in handcuffs!!!
Truth be told, I'm hyped of course... I'm trying to control myself but I'm losing it! Thanks for the kind words, fellas. I can't wait to get some pics on this thread along with a written "testimonial."
Note: PTS is NOT an STS, turbo is not relocated... only some money is.

Perhaps you may evade his further wrath, but I would not want to misspeak the name of the God of Turbo Delay immeadiately before "picking up my car"
I saw RICE_ETR dyno his SS w/DIY 76mm setup this summer on a local Dynojet dyno. He couldn't make over 9psi on the dyno, and it spooled slower than on the street. FWIW, his car is the only turbo LSx that I've ever ridden in, but I've been in 10second rides, and I was seriously impressed.
*Cough*cough*whatsupMM*cough*
I'm going to 'visit' mine tomorrow as well, but not to pick it up
Good luck, I hope everything goes well.
