TTi Street kit T-76 or D-1SC Procharger
Basically I'm trying to decide which route i want to take. There are WAY TOO many threads of turbo vs surpercharger. But, what im trying to do is decide between these two kits. as both are street friendly if i can say that. My motor is not forged yet. nor do i have heads yet. but im trying to decide if the switch out of ntirous scene is something i really want to do. This is not a drag car. You can see all my mods in sig but this is mainly a toy for me i want a good low 11 second car for now that is street driven. and later when i go with heads and a block will i up the boost. so i pretty much want what my nitrous offers me now. 500hp to the wheels but i want it there all the time.
thanks

I needed a cam and a fuel system to make my numbers, which means you can clear 500 no problem with the base kit. This is also my daily, so I wanted it to be streetable. Below 3.5k, it's still very docile.

Turbo all the way. More efficient and no parasitic load on the motor. You'll also have a much better torque curve all the way through. Either way you're limited to 500-550rwhp with the stock bottom end but you already mentioned your hp goals...

I'm on the 6 rib atm. It's only $475 to go to 8, but I wanted to see if there's any slip with the 6. It turns out that the blower idler pulley wraps the belt like 85% around the blower pulley and I haven't had any slip. I'm sticking with this until the belt decides I need more grip. For yours, I would stay with the 6 since I haven't had any probs.

Let me rephrase myself. You are SAFELY limited to 500-550rwhp with a GOOD tune on the stock bottom end. Any more then start counting you days... (He already said he is only looking for 500 anyway).
Drewstein, no harm intended and not bashing your setup. Those are very impressive #s for stock bottom end. You're on the vertical limit of what that motor can take. I don't know if you read longrange4u's thread but he also was running over 600rwhp thru the stock short block but it was shortly lived. He blew the #7 piston. Honestly, you'll probably be in the same boat soon enough if you continue to run 640rwhp... JMO
