Default Quiet or loud S/C?

Couldn't do a poll So what do you prefer? Any regrets going from going to a loud to a quiet or vice versa?

I kinda like the idea of a blower and not being able to hear it. But at the same time that whistle is lovely to hear at idle....I just don't know if it gets louder as the RPM's rise. I make my purchase tomorrow (Procharger F1).

383 LT1. It's only a wkend cruiser/track/road race car so the wine shouldn't be that much of a concern I suppose. You can order them quiet but I don't know how quiet is quiet. Heard a clip of a D1 at idle and sounds sweet and broadcasts to everyone "I'm packin". Personally I rather just hit you w/ the big stick you DON'T see or hear.

Think I'll go quiet after reading my own post. The BPV will be loud though. LOL!

Magnuson (roots) sounds alot like an AC compressor at idle and cruise. When you get on it though...its hard to describe. Its awesome.

I like my quiet one - a Vortech V-2 SQ (superquiet) S-trim. After it warms up you hear more air whistling through the Mondo BPV than you hear SC noises. The helical gears are way quieter than the straight cut ones.

I can't vote because I don't like it loud or quiet. I like it to be just right, loud enough to turn heads but quiet enough to not annoy. The T-trim fits that bill.

Mine definitely lets you know I got something under the hood. I personally like it. Mine's pretty loud, a lot louder than prochargers but i like it like that.

Whatever makes more power!

I would rather have the best system power wise no matter what it sounds like.
