NO, I have seen people run it for 75,000 miles without a change! I wouldn't do it on my turbo car, but can be run for extended periods.

My feelings are that running your engine on methanol and spraying methanol are 2 completely different situations. You will not have nearly the amount of comtamination in your engine from spraying as I have seen in some of the dirt circle track guys that I work with who are running straight methanol 100% of the time.

In the list you posted above I would put the methanol consideration at the bottom.

Go to the online store in my sig and add the preferred customer membership to your cart. This will allow you to by for less than you could get it for locally. You need to remember that even though you are paying shipping the people you buy from locally also need to pay shipping to get it to them so it will still be added in their prices.

Yah, I see what you're saying regarding using methanol as stand-alone fuel vs. just spraying into the intake. Still, I end up using a decent amount of the stuff, so if a particular oil is actually designed to handle it better I'll factor that into my decision.

Oh, and the "last for 2500 miles" item on my wishlist just means that I'm not looking for some extended lifespan on my oil... I don't drive this car that much, so I don't mind a short mileage interval between changes.
