Default D1SC Dyno Sheets??

I was wondering if anyone had any dyno sheets of their D1SC setups they could post. Even better would be a H/C dyno overlayed with a D1Sc dyno or even a lightly modded car overlayed. I'm just trying to get an idea of what the powerband and torque curve looks like as opposed to an NA motor as I am considering picking up an 8 rib D1SC kit in the very near future. Thanks in advance and yes I did search.

Here are some of my runs

Stock bottom end LS1
D1SC Procharger - 10-10.5psi
LTs, Corsa Exh
224/228 114lsa cam
upgraded valvetrain

The 600+rwhp run was with Methanol
The lower of the two was before the Methanol

Here' mine... No stock bottom end street tune has made more so far either.

Stock head
Stock Bottom end
Cam
LGLTs w/ Borla stingers
Fuel system
91 octane treet tune

This is my daily driven tune. With some race fuel and timing, 700rwhp is possible...

...

That can't be true...

A guy in RPM made mid 620s with a smaller SC, a P1SC and no methanol on pump... also stock bottom end. Termin8tr (or however he spells it) made just over 640 on the gas with his stock bottom end.

As a matter of fact, 99SS-T made like 661rw.... and on a MUSTANG dyno with a stock bottom end and a phamspeed kit @12psi .... so I'm sure there are a ton more out there.

It isn't a feat, it's just not the thing to do if you want to keep it together.

-edit-
but your numbers do look damn good.

I bet they both had heads and only one measured up.

661... Something tells me he had heads and the proper octane. With octane alone I could top 700. I'm not sure how many runs she'll have in her at that power lvl though. For $2K more, he made 20 more rwhp? Shoulda put that money in his bottom end and made 100 more rwhp. But it's expensive to be a pioneer.

Yes there are many variations of stock bottom end combos, but none are still together or were just one time pulls where as I drive mine every day on 91. No I'm not WOT everyday either, but the LS1 can hold more than many give it credit. Also look at how smooth the graph is at setting 0. It's all in the tune, and I bow down to the one who tuned my ride for that very reason.
When I end up buying a new bottom end, I'm going for 700+ just for kicks.

I'm not shy about what's in it. The point of the build is to get the most for the least. I don't think we should waste our money on useless mods when we can make these numbers on mostly stock blocks. The difference of this and other builds? A no nonsense cam, 60# injectors(many use 42#), and a smoking good tune. An example of money savings I've taken from this board would be my LS6 intake manifold. I was two secs from buying a FAST intake with a 90mm LS2 TB. I said F that after reading this board and only got the LS6. I saved maybe a grand or more from that alone.

To each their own. I invite anyone to copy me and make more. I would rather see the LS1 dominate everything else out there than horde a good number.

No. The first two examples had 100% stock heads.....

99SS-T has 6.0L heads, but in your post you claimed "No stock bottom end street tune has made more so far either" So which is it? You have "the strongest stock longblock" or you have the "strongest stock shortblock"?

Your further posting is rampant with assumption...

If you are so concerned about the price of these mods, why did you start with a vette?

...and just so I don't seem like an argumentative *******, I'm done with this topic.

I was there for John's (99SS-T) dyno. I was the one who made/posted the videos of the dyno run. He is stock bottom end with 6.0 heads/918 springs. I believe we stopped and got 110 octane gas. John- correct me if I am wrong.

Regardless, who cares?!?! All of the numbers posted in this thread are great for stock bottom end cars.....right?

Dyno sheet shows stock run Vs. 7.5-8psi D-1SC, cam, headers and exhaust.

http://www.msnusers.com/CarsRelatedG...oto&PhotoID=60

Now we are trying to push 10-11psi on the stock bottom end and saw 560-570rwhp on a mustang dyno with some tuning left to do.

I owned a mullett one time, '00 SS in fact. Now I sit a little better and would like something nice to drive. Want to know how I could afford it? By not blowing money on stupid ****.

Come back when you make power instead of "so-and-so's" ride.

Hey dude, you were one trying to compare investment and return HP, not me.

Gotta get that pot shot in... Are ya mad cuz I posted examples that are contrary to your claims? Nobody said you can't make 1000HP on a stock shortblock; most people are just smarter than that.
