How to adjust BOV I have a megasonic BOV mounted before the MAF, and wonder how to correctly adjust it. I see soft/hard on the top that is apparently adjustable, but not sure where to start. Seems like when I let off, it bleeds off boost like it should, but seems like it really has to rebuild boost, rather than going into the next gear and maintaining boost... Is this normal, even for a 6-speed car? My TA is being painted right now (GM black, 5 coats of clearcoat), and won't get it back until tomorrow. When running it on the street, with EFIlive running, I got 0 KR, should I adjust the boost controller up to 8# or more? It's a stock shortblock with items in signature. I need to know what I need to do with the BOV and what your opinion(s) are on boosting higher than the current 7#. Thanks in advance. (BTW, I'm going to Famoso Raceway on Sunday)
could be the brand of bov just not up to snuff, try it stiffer but I have a tial and its suposed to be 9psi, it goes off easy on my 5.5psi when I let off, and when I hit the next gear I'm full boost as soon as I shift, no delay at all but tial is suposed to be one of the best, maybe somebody that has had both can chime in...
