Default 76mm or 80/88mm..

is the 76mm too small? not sufficient enough? im building the 418, we all know, but dont wanna smoke up when i shoot from a stop, so i figured the boost coming a lil bit later (80/88mm) would be hot for the roll race, or a dead stop... will it back up the 418cid??? Im shootin for the t6 flanged...

Id go bigger then that..... 91mm GT55... comes to mind.....
Look at the flow of that motor and the Compressor maps of the turbo's your looking at.... you are going t want to keep back pressure in mind when choosing what turbo.

Yes the 91mm wold ring some bells and your set up could defintly handle it. going with a smaller housing would assist the lag.

Go with the S88. Heck they are tough enough we are ordering them for 150+psi compound diesel setups and they spool great for the amount of flow. Also the Gt55 is huge in comparison. Its a tough fit indeed.
