Default Greddy boost controller problem-sts kit

For some reason starting 2 nights ago I wasnt making more than 1.5psi in 1st gear. I can make normal boost in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear but for some reason in 1st gear I cant make more than 1.5psi. No matter what changes I make with my boost controller it stays the same. Everything is normal after 1st gear, last week I raced a modded c6 and I made 10psi in 1st gear no problem. Is it possible my boost controller is partially malfunctioning? My clutch isnt slipping at all btw. I will call greddy tomorrow I was just wondering if anyone had an idea as to what could be causing this. thanks

lol..yeah I havent posted in a while, I have been boosting 10-12 on the stock motor which now is at 144,000 miles..lol...the only dyno I had was @8psi back in december which made 482rwhp 522tq. I since have had some clutch problems, rear main seal , now finally for the last 3 weeks I've been on a ram hd clutch which is holding pretty good. I was going to the track friday then this 1st gear boost problem started ...
How is your car running? any power#'s? I still want to see your exhaust too, sounds like it will be pretty tight!

May sound silly, but check and make sure the boost/ vacuum line running to your boost gauge isn't pinched (provided you're using a mechanical boost gauge.) I had this prob last week (among many I've ben sorting out ) Went from 5psi to all of a sudden 2psi in1st and 4psi in 2nd. Found a kink in the boost gauge line....fixed that, and now normal readings again.

BTW, the car still registered vacuum even with this line restriction. Hope your probs this easy.

thanks for the input , I thought I checked the vacuum line but I'll check it again. What type of boost controller are you using? The reason I ask is because I remounted the valve solenoid and I didnt reuse the rubber washer between the solenoid and the mounting location.(I lost the rubber washers and reused metal washers) I just read in the greddy instruction manual it says "warning" make sure to use the rubber washer when mounting the valve solenoid. I am going to try remounting with the rubber washers and see if this fix's the problem. thanks
