Default Big Chargecooler

Found this on another forum I use...

Its Craig Munro's Commodore from Aussieland. It used to be a Supercharged LS1 once, but now its Twin Turbo, and I suspect it might be pretty fast...

With a rather large and complicated chargecooler setup.

Lots of un-needed weight and space taken up. A simply well thought out cooler or stacked cores with proper work would have achieved the same and be tons lighter.

That water tank in the rear is hige, and must add some serious weight.

Really does seem OTT.

AU stuff always looks sharp. But is that car about 5000 lbs with driver?

Doubt it would be that heavy. I know a stock 2 door Monaro ( GTO ), which uses a similar platform as the Commodore would be close to 4000lb with driver.

Kerb weight according to owners manual for a Monaro is about 1690kgs which is about 3720 lbs.
