Question P1SC Cam questions

I'm looking for a blower cam that has nice gains on the track for a friend and won't kill him on the street. Something with a noticeable idle but not radical. He wants to move beyond 500rwhp.

2000 T/A WS6 6-speed
Mods:
ATI Procharger P1SC 8psi dual IC's, 255 fuel pump, 42lbhr injectors,
Headers, cutout, 12-bolt with 4.10s, tubular torque arm, subframe connectors. Future upgrades include shaft mount rockers and 8rib/damper upgrade.

With the 8rib upgrade I'd turn boost up to 10lbs.That should put you around 500rwhp.For alittle more a Cam from 220-224 would do the trick.Follow that up with a good tune to keep things in check.

Thanks....anybody running the SC2...any cold start issues, idle issues?
I like the 117lsa and slightly longer duration

I plan on ordering tonight...and have narrowed it down between SC1 and SC2 from speed inc. Any thoughts from the pros?

SC2 is on the way...I'll let ya know the outcome...also decided to upgrade to a ported oil pump from SLP, hardened pushrods and double roller timming set for that added margin of safety. Thanks for your help everyone

It's kind of a funny situation. My dad and his dad were engine builders and fabricators...so I guess it rubbed off on me. I work on many vehicles around here..mostly military (less chance of finding an A** hole that refuses to cough up the dough since you know were they work). I have 3 F-body cars that I work on exclusively. The guys are friends of mine who love to race but don't have alot of experience automotive wise, or time to work on their cars because of their job. So....since I've known them forever and we have alot of trust...they let me do the dirty work and spend money on products they want, and I get the satisfation of putting it together and hearing it run and perform at the track I'm not in this just for money...I love what I do and I warrant all my work...if I break it...I pay for it...engine, trans, etc. I haven't had a problem yet...but there are funds set aside just for such an issue. I'll even drive to the person's house to work on the vehicle. I'm completely mobile. As you can see...I won't install anything on someones vehicle unless I do some extensive research on the product. This site just broadens my horizons
