Connect the two and we have...

married=*****

Wait, that can't be right! I'm not a *****! Well, before I was married all I did was talk about cars and drinking with my friends. Now, I know a little too much about furniture, have been to a shitload of baby showers, and I've seen the notebook. Holy smokes it might be true!!!

Yeah my wife bitches about the noise level in my car and about the gasoline fumes and abou the high speeds blah blah blah... That's why I don't let her ride in it anymore.

I do the exact same thing. I've had my car for about 1 year, she's ridden in it only once or twice. She bitched, so that was the end of it. At least she is cool about otherwise, I mean I can race whenever I want, spend whatever I want, and so on, but she annoys me to much so we just take her car when we go anywhere.

Thats to bad an F1R has a different step up ratio than a regular F1 and is loud as hell but I dont think that you could make under 800rwhp with this blower though and any car with that power isnt going to sound very close to stock. throtle response is instant and my 408 seriously raps up faster than my 954RR street bike, I wouldnt change it for the world. I also have a 370ci turbo truck the only difference is the fear level that you put in your opponent with all the noise at idle they already brace themselves for losing on the flip side its fun to kill them when they thought they would kill you. But the blowoff valve on the turbo sound way better.

My wife digs the whining sound of the s/c! She really liked the car when it used to shake from the cam though! It still does just not as much as when it was all motor!

Today's shipping F1 and F1R blowers have a 5.40 stepup ratio. The old ratio was 5.00 .

F1R is definetly a different blower you need to call them and you'll see how much more air it moves. And the difference comes in sooner in the curve all the way to the top

You're right, they are deffinitely different blowers with their own personality, but that wasn't what I was responding to.

I have also noticed no close calls with deer as well! Bob
Ya know, I noticed that too.....I was able to observe deer during the day on numerous occasions & they always took off in the opposite direction.

At first I was annoyed by the sound at idle. However, of all (not that many, just saying) the girls I dated they didn't notice it until I brought it up. Their attention was on other stuff.

Since I had a small fleet at the time, my mom borrowed the vehicle on many occasions too. She was 50 at the time and never complained about the noise. She did comment on how fast it zipped to 80.

I dropped my car off at FLP today and got to listen to a couple procharged cars. I listened to a D1SC'd vette, I was impressed how quiet it was! You couldn't hear it inside the car with the windows up. Also got to hear an F1 blown LT1 stroker, I could hear lots of air moving but the whistle was tolerable. I was really expecting worse noise, its not bad at all.
