Everytime I would leave the line at the track my car did that. But it ended up being a cracked battery tray. Bolt looks fine but the other side that locks the battery in place breaks. Then grounds out against the chassis.

so the battery could be grounding out agains the chassis and causing this issue. its in a little metal tray that holds it into place with a few self tapping screws. think that could be it?

It would cause my dash to blink also. I now have my batt relocated and put my vortech water box were the bett use to be. Look for tiny ark marks on your batt box.

Having an unsecure battery is a very dangerous thing. It isnt something you want moving about at all.

It may not be your problem, but just thought I'd state the obvious regarding battery mounting.

I actually kow a guy who set his car on fire. He jacked it up to change the wheels, the battery slid over, shorted out, and set the wiring loom on fire.
