Default New Procharged numbers

The car made 554rwhp 518rwtq before with the same setup. The setup is stock bottom end, heads, TB, manifold, FLP headers, Hooker catback and FM7 cam seeing around 11psi.

The only changes we made were removing the inlet hat and the filter. The car made 630rwhp 609rwtq on a MUSTANG DYNO seeing around 13psi

Here is the dyno sheet
http://www.msnusers.com/CarsRelatedG...to&PhotoID=112

As you can see there is some belt slippage in the midrange. The car made 500rwtq at 3500RPM and 609rwtq at 4700RPM. It made 630rwhp at 6000RPM where the run was stopped because the fuel system is maxed out.

We are going to fix the fuel system and go for 6800RPM instead of 6000RPM. We also need to tighten the belts a little bit. All in all im pretty happy with the results giving its a Mustang Dyno.

Here is a dyno to compare the two runs against eash other. Look at the area under the curve.
http://www.msnusers.com/CarsRelatedG...to&PhotoID=113

Conclusion: Stock Air filter and hat from Procharger kit sucks. Need a real fuel system.

I have no clue... The car only have 15K miles on it since i dont drive it much. It held up at 550rwhp (DynoJet) for 4K miles with no problems. We did a compression test and all pistons were within 5% of each other which is not bad. The motor is healthy. If it held up for another 5K i would be more than happy lol.

If you run that much horsepower all of the time you'd maybe get that much out of that engine...Awesome numbers by the way....

What a huge difference from removing that inlet hat!

Is their a custom hat (higher flowing) that could be made to fit? Or is it a dimension problem?

Cheers,
Chris

It has a SDCE 8 rib now. The stock ATI 8 rib did its job until 11-12psi when major slippage started and then it bent the idler pulley bolt.

I was surprised to see the SDCE slip the belt a little in the midrange. I still have around 13000RPM left on the D1SC. So I'm sure it might see 15-17psi with the built motor once the blower maxes out.

What are u doing up this late lol.

So the boost gauge is reading 2 more psi than the dyno?

Lets do it man.... Lets get the fuel system fixed and lend me some slicks. I think it will hit 650rwhp once we get it to 6800RPM. It would be nice to get a 10 sec run

Nice numbers! From what we have seen, an aluminum 4" elbow is the way to go off the ProCharger. We tried using a 4" 4 ply silicone elbow, and it was sucking closed under high boost conditions. We also special ordered in a bunch of K&N 4" diameter airfilters that are 18" long, these things look like they belong on a semi. We just got them in this week, we're not even sure it they are going to fit without a little pursuading... Bob

no the dyno only samples between a start and stop rpm window. it pulled a little quicker then I expected so by the time I let off I was past the 6300-6400 window and the data log showed 6800 I think.

It probably wouldnt have made another 20-30 with the extra 2 psi, but I wasnt doing it again until we have it fueled like a diesel

Feher it isnt at max tension yet, I twisted it around to the stop and its slightly lower then rec. tension Id like to set it up slightly above recommend next time around

Thanks Bob.... Keep us updated on the fitment of that piece. We were thinking to try a 4" HKS filter.
