wow is the alternator installed right, i dont rememer those type being that close to the oil filler neck? are you going to have to remove the alternator to add oil?
i know his manafolds veried quite a bit from make to make, but did his brackts?
did you have to take the filler neck off and just use the cap to get it to fit or did you do that for other reasons?

I don't see how else the bracket can be installed. I've tried mocking it up everyway that I can...FrceFed said he had this problem as well. I can get the oil cap off without taking the alt off. Will your bracket even let me close my hood? Looks really high from the picture

Double checked the pullies and they're a rib off. hmm

It was a rib off but I added a washer behind the bracket and it lines up good now...the oil cap comes off easy now.

Actually I dont think the belt can make the shot from the alternator to the crank, so I'll probably be making a paypal out to you soon.

I have the whole week off to finish up the odds and ends.
Got the cover test fit over the intercooler and it fits good even with the bumper support

But I can get a breather on mine and still have access to the fuel rail

MY bracket is a lil leaner than the smokinhawk bracket and is a bit different than the pham/GZM thing as the pham one didn't work at all, I also had to shim the bracket out with a washer on each mounting pad on where it bolts to the tensioner to get the alignment right....

Post up more pics

air conditioner and the alternator bracket have one, think you can switch one of them out.

That has been replaced on mine with a 6 rib plastic/nylon idler pulley from NAPA, its "about" the same diameter and holds the belt in alignment better, not that I had any issues with the smooth idler, just got the ribbed one for some piece of mind...gotta take a new pic of that too
