For that kind of power with stock cubes, could a T-67 hit those numbers without drop off at the end... Or even hit it at all?

If single turbo, I'd grab a T76.

Yeah... sorry for the hijack everyone...

Just trying to do do the whole forged 346 ~650 rwhp pump gas thing, and trying to avoid buying that sucker... $$$

I don't even know why I said T-67 as I have a T-70... Must've gotten confused writing this post while reading another one.

I like this thread since I have the same questions... Let's keep it coming!

I am shooting for 650 rwhp with a T-70 Hi FLo kit and stage two intercooler with a forged 9:1 stock cube short. Should not be a problem with a great tune and that is with 91 octane.

Have you already made sure you can reach that rwhp with the T-70 and a 346 cid?

Go with the T76 GTS. I made 600rwhp @ 14PSI with a T72. Switching to a t76 gts made 700rwhp at the same boost level. Spool time was virtually unchanged.

Everyone I have spoke with seems to think it won't be a problem although I am going to be running my stage two heads and a custom turbo cam so it will be a real efficient motor also with an upgraded intercooler so if you have all the above you can do it.

Trust me... Were money not the issue, I'd be gently caressing a T-76 of my own and not have this dilemma.

So you've done some "hypothetical" math...

With a Z06 cam and 6.0 heads, do you think I/you could reach that?

To the original poster: What turbo are you going to run?

I am going with Hi FLos t-70 which is a garrett made to their specs. I think you can do it with what you got just get someone who can work wonders with tuning. Ask Jose at forced inductions what he thinks. How about adding a little bigger intercooler to help run some more timing?

Good ideas... you're right. If I bought the T-76, that would really hurt my budget... trying to avoid it bu want it done right, you know? I haven't bugged Jose yet because I know he gets real busy and people abuse with all sorts of Q's, but I will give him a call soon. Though, he's more than welcome to chime in if he was to stumble into this thread by accident bored, staying up late one night!!!

Sell the T70 to partially offset the cost..its better than spending more money on a bigger intercooler.
