any body know anything about it i have heard about people doing it to C5s. but like i said i dont know anything about it wanted to learn more.

Yes I have looked it up and seen people doing it... but still would it be posible to do it with f bodies is my question? Bc it would be more like a roots type blower.

It has been done, some have cut out part of the cowl at the firewall, I have also heard mentioned an offset blower mounting plate to move the blower forward. What I can't figure out though is why anyone would want to go to all this trouble, when an ATI ProCharger makes a lot more power. Bob

Well to me a procharger does not really catch my I. Bc I helped my friend put one in his 96 stang and it seemed like a belt driven turbo not saying it was bad mad. His car faster than i thought. Ran 1.2 sec faster in the 1/8. But when i rid in it he did not make boost till 45,000rpms. Just thinking that a roots blower would make the boost at a lower rpm.

roots blowers definitely have more seat of the pants feel, they make full boost at around 2000 rpm. Feels a lot like having a stroker engine under the hood, plenty of power and torque response across the rpm range. They do not make as much peak hp as a ProCharger, but they definitely improve the daily-driving responsiveness and fun factor.

I wish my motor spun to 45,000rpms.

Anyhow you are talking about a 96 stang. That's not a good car to base something on. Ride in a procharged ls1 and make a decision.

Don't get me wrong I am not anti procharger.. I own several.. but torque like the magnacharger makes off idle is just amazing. It can be done like anything else. Requires some work.

If you really want to be unique and have that off idle snap I would say don't go running and buy a procharger till you do all your homework on making the magnacharger work!
