Made airdam for my intercooler, pics/info on my D1SC setup
I dont' want to cut my bumper and my intercooler needs more air so tonite I got creative with some plexiglass. I cut the bottom flap off the bumper, don't care about that since you can't see it. cut a piece of plexi then used a propane torch to bend it how i wanted. sloted it, put holes and mounted it. few hours of work doing it right, we'll see if it impacts things this weekend. that flap was totally covering the intercooler on the underside before, this should help.
never posted my setup in here after getting it done. this year i am running a D1SC procharger with SDCE's 8 rib setup, 3.7 pulley. car has a 3" FMIC and all custom stainless piping. i run a stock balancer that has been keyed and pinned to the crank. gotta have my bling so i polished everything as usual
fuel system is dual intank pumps, -8 lines, speed inc regulator and speed inc fuel rails with 60 lb motrons.
motor is stage II ls6 heads, 10.2 compression, cam is a custom speed inc blower cam by Jim. heads are studded, MLS gaskets. same shortblock i've had for almost 3 years, nothing fancy.
car is tuned with hp tuners and a dynojet wideband installed.
no dyno numbers, not planning on it, thats what my wideband is for.
made 2 shakedown passes last tuesday. car spun to the 1/8th mile with no track prep. 2nd pass was 1.54 sixty foot and went 10.201 @134.15. tune was VERY conservative in AFR and timing curve to start.
weather permitting I will be racing this weekend, get more aggressive with my tune and looking for a solid 9 second timeslip if i can hook the car.
attaching a few pics of the setup and my little creation for the intercooler tonite lol.

thanks guys. 4" intercooler is still on the docket but wasn't gonna happen by this weekend, wanted to try this out, if it helps i'll use it even with a bigger intercooler.
SRZ i cut that bumper flap off with a sharp knife, did the job easy.
blown383--that was done over a year ago. i had the trans out so i just yanked the motor out, moved things, prepped and had my buddy come by that paints and he sprayed and cleared everything.
I don't *think* i'll destroy this thing on the ground seeing as how far forward on the car it is but if it hits some wouldn't be hard to shave it down and make it shorter, guess i'll find out.
nosjohn--lol we'll see, hoping for that 9 second slip soon.
ssilverssurfer--i was going to do a N20 setup before getting my hands on this blower first week of March, had just got these heads and had just put a big cam motion n20 cam in, so just had jim put together a blower cam instead and put the blower on, car seems to be handling the compression just fine so far, even looks good on 93 octane on a safe street tune, pulls hard as hell.

Very nice... Im getting the same fuel setup for my car(I have one hot wired intank pump, 60 lbs injectors now, Idle FP at 62psi, WOT FP at 42psi at 6K RPM where we have to shut due to fuel starvation). I was wondering whats your FP at idle and WOT?
Thanks

fastkat--yes i painted and clearcoated my coil packs
ls1power, i put the idle fp at like 61 psi. i believe it stayed right at that at WOT, my stupid fuel pressure guage took a poop the day of my shakedown passes so didn't see my fuel pressure going down the track.
blk01--what old intake piping? that thing that was on there temporarily before was just pvc painted black lol, did the job and brought the IAT's down nicely compared to an airlid but that's all it was.
