Need info to install YS-trim on LT1
Need info to install YS-trim on LT1 I have a YSI trim vortech blower that I was going to put on a 95 lt1 trans am. I need some sort of brackets for it and If anybody could help me with this It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot
I would start with this Vortech kit: P/N 3GH218-050: Base Kit 1993 GM 5.7 LT1 F-Body, Satin, from a sponsor here. The kit does not have the blower or the electronics. Then you can modify the blower mount to fit the similar YSI. I would ask the sponsor if they know a better/cheaper way to do it, though.

Deltat I am going with an aftercooler. Thanks for th info. Do you or does anybody have a link that I may use to order or get brackets for it. Thanks alot. I think the outlet needs to shoot up rather than down due to the aftercooler.

Verdad Gallardo Chris (Z8's) told me that you have to clock the blower sideways with his brackets. I'm almost postive there's no other way to get it to fit with these brackets. I'm using a custom Griffin air/air in the front anyways, almost everyone at this power level step up to a much larger intercooler, whether it be air/air or air/water.
