Default Harlan 2 step plus TwinTurbo = big difference.

That Harlan fella is one smart dude. Don't know what's inside the magic black box, but it works.

Footbrake last season without it would bring the vac to zero....no boost at launch

2step set at 2200rpm = 5.2psi at launch

I'm surprised how smooth it works...I was expecting a stutter box kinda launch.

Life is good.

Just add a trans-brake. Hold button and launch at 4200 rpm. That's at least what I will be trying once the car is up and running.

I have one of Harlan's 1st ones made. Lost the top and not sure if it works still. Just sits there.

The new two step lets you foot brake the car with the two step armed to help build boost. Then add the transbrake and another two step point (same box) and build more boost faster than on the brake by itself. Should be twice as much fun when you guys get a chance to try it.

I unhooked my transbrake for the 2 step. You may need a 2 step to control the stall on the tb. My tb was too unstable to use...1 second = 3800rpm and 9psi....2 seconds = 4400 rpm and 13psi...you had to guess a launch and then it was way too violent and blew the tires off.....2 step is nice...you could use it to control the upper limit of the boost and stall on a tb.

Why dont you run the transbrake with the 2Step? I'm not FI, but I am nitrous. I intend to install my H2S in-line with the transbrake, so one button does it all. I need to get my H2S off the shelf and into the car one of these days...damn it.

I'm thinking that one of his new ones needs to go in my car while it's there.

Hopefully soon. I've got a couple bugs kicking my *** at the moment, and some travel for work coming up. But I'm plugging away on it.

I have never built boost on my 2-Step... Its a six speed and I do get out of vac... but no boost. Am I doing something wrong?

I always thought the way to get stick cars to build boost was the retard the timing...simply having a two-step probably won't help as much as it would on an automatic car.

Every bit helps

I could make a few psi on the 2 step with the 6 speed in the car. But the time from launch to full boost was night and day difference with and without.

On a stick car, pulling timing helps a ton. Not so much on a converter car. A BIG reason why I've added adjustable retard into the new 2 step itself. No reason to change anything in the PCM if you can twist a **** instead

I'm already making harnesses for the new one, and waiting for a quote back from the assembly house.

Can't comment on the the competition, as i've not seen one yet.

It does help on a stick car somewhat.

If your holding the RPMS manually then your probably at less than 20% throttle position with your foot when its time to start coming off the clutch and go.

With the 2-step your at the same RPM point at every launch and at 100% throttle position when its time to go.

I'm talking building boost wise...but it sounds like Harlan is going to have it capable of retarding timing as well which means it's going to be the best of both worlds for both stick and automatic cars.

Very nice to see a new one coming out as I sold my old one and now wish I didn't... I guess it was for a good reason to sell the old!

Not sure why they wouldnt work good in manual cars. Have them in my dsms and they are manual and they work great.

Looking forward to harlans new one likely get it but was wondering why more companies dont' have it software like my dsm tuning software?Dsm software tuning programs also have something called anitlag in there..
